Who is audit or review mandatory for?

Audit is always mandatory for the following companies:

  • Public limited companies (AS), which have more than 2 shareholders
  • State accounting entities
  • Municipalities
  • Legal persons in public law
  • Political parties receiving allocation from the state budget
  • Companies in which the state has at least the decision-making right

For all other accounting entities, the obligation of audit arises only when the conditions of various indicators of the annual report are exceeded.
